People be talking about the intense battle, formations, and all that. For me, the synchronised marching on 8:27 is cool enough to give me goosebumps. The cohesion in the line is just 👌

At the start of the video you claim this to be the ultimate medieval milsim. I dare say it can be even more realistic, bringing extra challenges to the commanding part of the game mode. How? By only allowing to communicate by voice in planning pre battle. As if it were a war council preparing for battle. You'd need to think of a way to signal certain troops to execute part of the plan (like a flanking force). In real life this would've happened with a horn, for example. I dont know if game mechanics allow something of the sort, but think about how awesome that would be. It's a suggestion, I'd really like to know your or anyone's thoughts on this. Of course, units can still communicate amongst themselves...

Normally battle lines wouldn't be just be about 1-2 men deep like we saw in the battle at around 10:00. To be honest, the round shields kept a much better line than you guys did in that fight, and I'd assume the opponent saw that and pulled the classic fake retreat to make space for a counter charge. That was amazing.

I can tell you now there is a better way to experience a medieval battle. Dont get me wrong, this does look impresive - definately a lot of fun from the looks of things. But as a reenactor, I dont think anything comes closer to experiencing the sounds, the smells, the feeling of a horses hooves thundering underfoot than partaking in a reenactment of a historical battle (other than maybe living through a real one). I'm lucky enough to be able to say that I know what its like to look up and see a dark cloud of arrows falling towards you, to feel the awe inspiring boom of a cannon from only a few meters away. I didn't think anything could come close to that experience, yet this seems closer than I expected anything ever could. Well played. It was a joy to watch.
